The P4 has been good to me primarily due to formula wagering that allows me to hit it 5 times if all my "A" horses hit the board or only 1 time if 3 "A" horses hit the board and 1 "B" horse hits the board.

Example: If I like the following horses in the P4.

R4 AA/BB
R5 A/BB
R6 AA/BB
R7 AA/BB

I will play the following tickets.

AA
A
AA
AA

AABB
A
AA
AA

AA
ABB
AA
AA

AA
A
AABB
AA

AA
A
AA
AABB

Now my question...Does anybody have a trifecta formula that will allow them to hit it multiple times? If so, please share.

Thanks,
Glen

I don't have a tri formula Glen, but what are the main differences between your A and B picks?

F4N,

A= most likely winner and any solid longshot horses...ie any horse you would come up with in your access spot plays.

B= Any horse that has a secondary chance of winning. Also include some longshots.

Below is an example of the tickets I played for FE yesterday using above formula:
08/06/01 FE 4 $8 Pick-4 7 / 3,10 / 2,3 / 1,5 ------ $0.00
08/06/01 FE 4 $16 Pick-4 7 / 3,10 / 1-3,5 / 1,5 ------ $0.00
08/06/01 FE 4 $16 Pick-4 7 / 3,10 / 2,3 / 1,5-7 ------ $0.00
08/06/01 FE 4 $20 Pick-4 7 / 3,4,7,10,11 / 2,3 / 1,5 ------ $0.00
08/06/01 FE 4 $32 Pick-4 4-7 / 3,10 / 2,3 / 1,5 ------ $2,745.55

Glen, did you mean the 6 in the 4th race not the 7? Winner 4FE6.

Sorry for the confusion...
4-7 = 4 through 7, not just 4 and 7.

Glen here is a tri wager that is in Barry Meadows book "Money Secrets at the Race Track"

Hope he does not mind my posting it here. But here is his web site if one wants to buy his book http://www.trpublishing.com/.

In his example you have one you love, the #5. 3 that should finish ITM the, 1-2-3 and 3 that might fininsh ITM 4-6-7. When ever I have tried this any runners that I leave out of the tri because IMO they have no chance to finish ITM usually do and kill it for me)

but it looks like this
5/1/2,3
5/2/1,3
5/3/1,2
5/1/23467
5/2/13467
5/3/12467
5/23467/1
5/13467/2
5/12467/3

on a $1 tri wager this would cost $36
If the 5 wins and 2 of your picks finish ITM you would hit twice.

You could repeat the entire sequence with the 5 in the 2 and or 3 hole for add'l $36 increments. The down side to me besides losing is hitting a bunch of chalk, you could hit the tri and still lose money.
