Another huge showing for the HTR players at the Gold Coast.
The following HTR subscribers picked up prize money + qualified for the 'World Series of Handicapping' - either by themselves or as partners =
Rick Newton
Donnie Nadermann
Ken Massa
Gary Triplett
Bill Hogarth
Jerry Pagels
John Buls
Mike Dee
Tom Walters
Bob Barbaro also won prize money but just missed the qualifying brackett.
Rick Newton was the big HTR cash collector this time, he picks up about $25,000 for finishing 3rd on one entry and 18th on the other. Wow - outstanding Rick!
Donnie had a near record day on Friday with over 19,000 points scored on the entry we shared and it garnered day money of $1000. That entry also finished 6th overall. There were more than 730 players in the contest and the competition was savage, as hundreds of the top handicappers in America were there hoping to get an invitation to the 'World Series' finals in January.
Congratulations to all our players. At least a dozen other entries from our group finished in the top 100 as well and they were basically one winner away from cashing in. Most will be back in October for the Orleans and I betcha we get 10 more qualifiers.
Tons of points gathered all-around by the group as whole. The seminar + tournament combo worked great and the meeting on Wed was a real catharsis for the main event the next day.
Thanks to all of you for coming to Vegas and being part of terrific week and we'll do this again next year.
