Overflow crowd for our 10 hour marathon seminar, still not enough time left as Donnie had to wrap it up around 10pm with macros!
We had about 60 people in the room for the first session. Discussing the powerful new K Line, workout rating, class appraisal, the Q5, and the awesome new robot (tester). My outline and handouts are available here on-line from the thread that Rick posted. I will re-edit the notes and provide more detail on all aspects discussed -- I had to hurry my final 20 minutes and cram a lot of stuff in - so it needs more detailed discussion in the August newsletter even for those that attended today.
Tom Walters spoke at 2:30pm on wagering followed by the database workshop hosted Donnie and MikeDee from 4:30pm until 10pm with about 15 die hards still going at it all the way to the finish line.
Nice banquet room comped by the Gold Coast and I'm sure highly positive experience for those that were there. For those that couldn't come, sorry we missed you, maybe next time.
Our $400 HTR handicapping contest was won by Garret O. (Inglewood Flamingo) with 2nd and 3rd going to Barb B. (LeakyEyes) and John B. (dawgfan). 36 players participated.
About half the group moves on to the Gold Coast tournament starting Thursday morning. I'll report in on the day's activities and results late each night.
