I saved my file from last year as htrdata2003.I would like to export it to Access to add to my present db which is from this year. How can I do this?
Thanks, Lou M.

If all of your 2003 files are in *.htr format you need to proceed very cautiously.
This is the way I would do it.
Rename HTRDATA to HTRDATA2004.
Rename HTRDATA2003 to HTR2003.
Open HTR2. Change directory to HTR2003. This will extract all the files, create a new HTRDATA directory, add the results to the racefile, and move all the *.htr files to your HTRDATA directory.
Hopefully you don't choke HTR2 with a whole years worth of races.
Export to an ALL_HX4 file.
Import into your database.
Rename HTRDATA to HTRDATA2003.
Rename HTRDATA2004 to HTRDATA.
If you have plenty of disk space save the HTR2003 directory of extracted races in case you need to to this in the future. Otherwise you can delete it.
Is is part of the reason I think it is better to save the old races in their extracted format so you don't have to jump thru the hoops to do this.

You may need to open the macro in design view and check to see that the path is correct. Look under "File Name" and if necessary, edit the path. Then click the save button and see if the macro will run.
