Hey......Blue Ribbon Downs is just right up the road. If Glen really needed a fix he could get a bucket of chicken, gallon of ice tea, steal some gas and fire up the rusty ole pickup and head north.

For sure wouldn't have to worry about horses moving UP in class there. Don't think they ship Yavapai horses to there.

On dark days Will Rogers Downs is available.

Yeah, the live racing is great. Two DQ's today at AP.
The judges were compleatly unjustified in taking my horse down in the 5th. Yes, there was contact but, it went both ways and my horse was clearly the best. But, what goes around comes around. The ninth race winner was taken down and my horse was declared the winner. Say nothing about the odds. I made an advance wager and left. Did not see the race.
The jock on both DQ'd horses was Rene Douglas. He is new here this year and currently the meets leading rider following the departure of Mark Guidry to Saratoga. Anybody know anything about him?

100 Acres. Rene Douglas was a mediocre rider in Florida, but since arriving at ap he was picked up by Guidry's old agent who is very good. Douglas is highly regarded on the turf. Got this info from some people i know in your town the windy city.

Hi John,

One cool thing about this board is that you can "edit" your posts IF you make a mistake.

Just hit the little "edit" box at the bottom of the post of yours you wish to change, it let's you go back in and change anything you want. Let's you change "Aces" to "Acres" or vice versa in seconds.

Liberal use of this feature is how we all manage to keep our ROI's positive on the selections board, works great. Only small problemo, it does leave the time of the last change on the post. We're still figuring out how to get around that. Hehe.
