Howdy fellow Pony Pickers,

The Orleans annual tournament will be this August 16th to Aug 18th (Thursday, Friday, & Sat). The object will be to out perform about 900 other friendly cappers. HTR players have had an excellent history in such type of events. Tommy C, Mike Mayo, Mike D, Tomcat, JB SHoulda, John Buls (sp), Bernie and a handful of others have all cashed in healthy checks. This next event should be no different. There will be atleast $450K in prize money. With the top prize being somewhere above $132K and 100th place about $500 (the cost of the entry fee).

Fellow Ev players such as Carl, MtKen, Hurrikane, MikeD and others will be very competive in such an event. It pretty much comes down to having 2/3 good longshot days at the even...3/3 would be better<g>. Something that is not unreasonable...

For more info, call the Orleans at 888 566 7223. I signed up last week and look forward am pretty excited about it and the opportunity to spending more quality time with excellent cappers.

BTW, and excellent time to take off the "salt googles" and get away from real life...

Glen:

Good luck, wish I could make it. I'm lined out for the rest of the summer, family vaca, etc.
I'd love to try a contest, though. Are there any good ones in the winter? Leaving MT is so much more appealing in Jan. Suppose they are trying to get people there in the summer, though.

I hit the last 2 in the DMR contest. Big $3.40 winner today, but nice one yesterday. Thanks for the idea.
