Betting Pool List

Anybody know a source for a list of tracks, sorted by Betting pool size(win pool/WPS pools/total handleper day etc)
I would like to use it as a test filter

There is no such public list to my knowledge regarding mutuel pool sizes. The 'Form used to print it, but no more. Equibase will not give it out. Maybe the American Racing Manual will have it - I know they used to - but I haven't bought the big book in years.

I made something for myself a while back, to see which tracks I could make $1000 win bets on favorites without driving the odds down significantly. Our current Equibase tables have the WPS pool conglomerated into one WPS pool field, so I do not have just the Win pool by itself. I'm literally knee deep in torn up computer parts all over the office floor right now but I'll post a document in the next few days. The trouble is, putting all these computers back together, I have parts left over.

As a rule of thumb at thoroughbred tracks, you can figure that the win pool is about two-thirds of the total WPS pool, or about twice as much is bet to win as to place and show combined.
