for Colonial Downs, arriving late Tuesday. Meanwhile, those that continue to play Monmouth might find this useful. So far, in male 8f claiming events on the turf, 10 out of 10 races have been won by a horse that is in the top 2 of P-Scan. Using this, nearly had a nice exacta score yesterday (place horse missed by a length). Otherwise, I'm not finding too much correlation between data and winners. Which led me to a question: in most of the state-bred races, in PRAT, screen 2 (small numbers), none of the contenders come anywhere close to having a figure near par. Wonder why? Surely the par for that race represents other state-bred runners at Monmouth?
Nice win by Burning Roma in the Long Branch Stakes yesterday, but keep an eye out for Mott's "This Fleet Is Due", a smallish colt making his first stakes start yesterday.

Thanks Ken for new Windows version.

Niel: could you give me an example or two by race number/date......I don't know if I have paid much attention to state bred vs others..........do know that while I've found some good ones with prat screen two have also seen periods of time when I couldn't hit a winner with a rock.
Don't want to hang you on a phrase but you said none of the contenders come close to par.could you mean none of the "runners" ? Have seen a lot of races where none have ever run to par...(par for todays race).......sometimes when that happens I have gone to screen one to look to see if anyone looks better at the pace call ........thinking that in a group of bad/slow horses the one(s) that run better to the pace call have a better chance..........How long will you be at CNL.........where do you go next ?

Hi, Ernie. Quick example: 6th race at Mth, 7/15.
We'll be in Virginia for two weeks, then at Saratoga from 4 Aug through Travers weekend.

Hey Neil, coming down to my neck of the woods. Good luck.

Can't off much on non par races except as Ernie said...if I check screen 1 and see nothing thenI willl check screen 2 to see if something jumps out. After that I am left with trainers and jockies or I just pass.

Good luck, travel safe, enjoy the journey....
