I am having a problem with the new update. When I try to print the Fig2, I get an
error message:
Run-time error '6'
Overflow
Is anyone else having that problem???

Bob, sounds like a bug, but has not reported to me by anyone else using FIG2 yet.
I just printed Full Card FIG2 (regular size) with SA for Saturday and it did not crash.
Did you try to print the FIG2 with [Print Report] single race or [FULL CARD] - Also, was it in regular or LARGE mode?
Did the error occur for all races you tried to print, or one specific race or card?
Fill me in on the details and I'll fix it asap if there is a problem -- thanks.

Ken, It comes up in all situations in the Fig2 mode for all tracks. However, Fig1 is works fine.
When I click on the ok in the error box, the program shuts down and the printer prints
about 6 lines at the top of the first page and then quits. Doesn't matter, either regular,
or landscape or large print.
I tried to redownload the update again, to write over the first, and that didn't help.
Can you fix the bug?
Thanks

I tried duplicating Bob's problem.
I had no trouble printing to a HP 6L.
The problem I had with the printing was the page quit 2 1/2 spaces after the Trainer/Jockey.
Looks great in landscape.

I'm sorry Bob, I could not duplicate it on my printer either. No other reports of problems from users. Perhaps there is a conflict with the printer and transmitting a document with 154 columns. Try the same print with [PP2], if it crashes, then then the printer may be balking at printing beyond a certain range or font size, etc. FIG1 is a 120 column item - same with all other screens in HTR2 except PP2.
If you have another printer - try it. Also, you can send FIG2 to 'Print-to-File' from Full Card Print and then retrieve the data in a word processor and possibly print it from there.
I'll keep my eyes on it in any case.

Well.....the PP2 works fine, even with large print. It's only in Fig2 that the computer balks.
Are there the same cols in Fig1? What about PP2?
I tried the print to text in full card, and that worked out ok.
I suppose I could print out Fig1, and draw in the 6 months line, and pencil in the weights,
if needed.
I wonder why I'm the only one with this problem. I'm using Windows 98..latest verion of
that one, and a NEC SuperScript 870 laser printer. I don't plan to upgrade to XP til I get another printer. I do have lots of RAM and run a Pentium III.
I'm still open to suggestions.
thanks,
bob

Bob, read my other post regarding AGE and the update, download the new version on Monday, maybe I will have found the problem and fixed it by then - but so far I can't locate anything that would knock a printer out.
