Jock %

I still use the HTR dos version. I was looking at a race today and noticed the HTR consensus gave a jock with a 14% win % the #1 rating in the race, however there are 4 other jocks in the race that all have a 16% win %. Can anyone shed some lite as to why the consensus would give the 14% jock the #1 rating?????

Perhaps he does better with the type of horse he
is riding today, i.e. Maiden, Turf etc.

The DOS version jockey rating had 3 parts =

1) Jockey with trainer
2) Jockey with horse
3) Jockey 1yr win

The HTR2 (Windows version) has a more sophisticated formula as Dr. Larry alluded.
