Ya'll,
I've watched a few races on the "Odds" screen of ATR when there is no number and the square is completely red. My understanding is that this is a negative pool. But, does it really mean anything? Seems to happen all the time at MNR so, no big deal.
However, during our recent on-line tourney, noticed it happened at CRC (8/30, Race 5). Sure enough, horse #11 came in and paid $75. Actually, there were two negative pools shown right around the 12 minutes to post mark on different horses.
Anybody have any insight they could add as to why this happens and how it might help one to pick longshots without giving away their trade secrets?
TIA,
Cliff
