But looking at the 4th @ Pim, the #4 is 6/5 with
2 minutes to post. In this maiden race full of FTS, the #4 ran a 69 EP and 72 Final PER fig on a 91 Par. Whats wrong with this picture...Gimmie #3 FTS, 23% FTS and 19% at the distance at 14-1.

Not an idiot Glen. Md tracks are notorious for low odds. I was at Pim yesterday and didn't play one race of theirs. I may be wrong but I believe with the exception of a long shot on the turf it was chalk coming in all day. I'm not sure if it is the handicappers in there or their inablility to fill a field..or both. Seems that standard handicapping doesn't always make sense betting there. When I use to make my own speed figs back in the stone-age I would most always bow to a trainer over the figs at a MD track. Of course with DEL offering bigger purses we'll see how long before the good trainers move to Del and PIM becomes a ghost track. As it is I think the Preakness is the only thing keeping it alive now. Hopefully they can turn in around and put MD racing back in the mix as it was before the old man died and left it to his son who couldn't tell a horse from a horses ass.

Yeah, all I do is complain about MD tracks but they somehow end up with my money in the end. Boy, do I have total respect for all you guys who used to make your own speed and pace figs. Must of been a real *itch doing all that manual labor. Thank goodness for computers.

Yeah...it was an incredible chore creating the figs and doing the variants. Walking around with all that data that no one else had was what made it worth while. Like a little cult. Today..I wouldn't say they are worthless but they are not investment quality anymore.
the computer givith and the computer taketh away.
fortunately...Ken giveth!
