Anyone get through on the phone lines and get registered for the one at Emerald Downs?

No luck Cliff. Last year they said it filled in less than 1 hr.
Not surprising with 8 seats and only 200 players. Would have been a nice tourney to play.

I got lucky and got through. Tommy C tells me that he, Mayo, Don M., and Gabby A. got through while playing at the Gold Coast.

Should be interesting!

I didn't try to enter Emerald this year because it was to close to the HTR meeting in Lexington.
But let us know the secret of getting an entry for next year.

I'm not sure I can offer a strategy. Started early and kept hitting redial. Took about 30 minutes to get through.

This year (and last?)....400 players, 12 spots. Only $100 for 2-12, but, I sat next to the guy that won it during the NTRA championship, and, he had nothing but high praise for the way they had treated him. I think they even took everyone out to dinner both nights in Vegas. LSP nickel and dimed me to death.

For the 4 guys listed above,

I've been in contact with Christina at EMD and asked for seating near an outlet or 2. Shouldn't be a problem.

OH wow..I thought it was limited to 200 player.
