Race 9
#4 The Madison Man shows a WO yesterday at SA. IMHO, this is very very positive and the horse should be given a good look. Better yet since it was at SA, this info may not show up in the small type in the program. It might not even be announced at the track. Horse has been off 240 days and only shows 2 works so we might assume that it worked out back at the ranch. Look for tote baord action on this one.

Trainer and jock are suspect to me. Not much info, but hey this is a MDN 25 for 15 grand. This is the low rent district for HOL (S. Cal) Notice the E speed. Horse started at the bottom and still there but shows some early foot. Has had a full compliement of drugs and blinks for all runs so nothing there. Turn time on Impact screen jetcity the 7 furlongs is a problem, so I want some odds.

#4 The madison Man recap
Jock asleep as off a bit slow from the 4 hole as only front speed in race since other front speed # 12 was scratched. Ran up and raced behind the leaders into the turn. Made a nice move off the turn and veered left as horse was changing leads. Jock made decision to go left to try to split foes but Pincay on the # 10 drifted left in the stretch to shut off and cause # 4 to check. Interesting in that Pincay looked over his shoulder to see what the heck he had done. # 4 continued on and got nosed for show ending up forth.. # 4 jock claimed foul against # 10 but no way would the stewarts drop Pincay against a nobody. Odds were right, RS as only speed horse was right but jock and stewarts left a lot to be desired.
