A thread earlier in year referred to "bridgejump" races. Think Tomcat coined the phrase. A race where enormous amounts are bet in show pool on a "can't lose" horse. Assume when he loses, local bridges are full of bankrupt bettors jumping.

Have seen 3 of these this year and been lucky enough to make good money on 2 of them. Got $30+ on a show horse when Hallowed Dreams ran out at EVD.

Sunday, 6/24 at HOL race2 had a spot play on MR FRECKLES. Watching the tote noticed another horse hat 83% of the show pool. Changed my bet plan from $20 win to $10 win and $40 show.
Results:
2 SING BECAUSE $16.00 $7.40 $20.80
3 DISGUYS DALIMIT.....$7.40 $27.80
1 MR FRECKLES...............$19.80

Found out later the big show money was on Crafty C. T. Had I known who was horse to beat might have chickened out. Ignorance is bliss!!

Nice score George! Ya gotta love when paying attention pays off (83% of show pool)....or maybe not paying attention (Crafty CT) :-)

Either way, good bet structure!

Good going George...I like Winticket because they do the %'s for you...I've missed the bridgejumpers so far.

Excellent George, that is the think I like about BRIS supertote (the % of money) vs Racing Channel or Youbet tote. Have cashed a couple Place bets close the the win payouts by paying attention to this.
