I took Ken's TLC article and changed it to reflect the current version of TLC. That is from info posted here.

I changed the race example to one using the current version of TLC.

Changes, corrections, and additions are welcome. MikeD can explain his rating to those of us that didn't make LV.

The MikeD number is a compound factor it is made up of 53% of nPOW and 47% of nPPSCAN.
By using the precentages it weights the number toward POW while PPSCAN eliminates any ties. I find this to be the best overall factor based on win%. IMO it's value is in picking contenders for tri and P3/4/6 wagers. Winner can be found about 80% of the time in top 4. This will vary of couse by track and field size.
