Saw an impressive performance at LS last night by Point Gained, 2 year old half-sister to Point Given. She won her first start easily with jockey Corey Lanerie holding the reins in a choke hold and hanging on for dear life !! He never touched her with the whip and she won by 3 and looked like could have won by 15.

She is going in my "horses to watch for" list.

Interesting that HTR had her as number 1 in nearly every category even though a FTS.

Yeah, I watched the race. I was in total shock. Looked like the horse was jogging while all others were running for their lives. Amazing win. Don't recall seeing anthing like that since Chilukki (sp). Not saying that she ran as fast as her, just with such ease...

HTR been very very good to me w/ FTS. Just missed $23K tri at LS a couple weeks ago using HTR Consensus for FTS. Asked KM about how he does it last weekend and he just gave me some fuzzy techno answer that I didn't understand. Ok with me as long as it works. Any FTS w/ 90 plus HTR consensus rating is a beast. Recall a while back running a query where if the FTS was ranked 1 in CLA it won 28%???!!! How do he get that info? Amazing though...

I saw the race on the net last night and it was most impressive. One of the dumber things I've heard in awhile was in connection with this race, the talking head on Philly Park TRN said he couldn't understand why the crowd had bet the horse down to 3/5. Guess he doesn't follow the triple crown series.
