Before departing Las Vegas and being once more at the mercy of a cell phone connection, I wanted to thank Ken Massa and seminar presentors Tom Walters, Don Nadermann, and Mike DeRienzo. This was the first time I have attended one of these, and I'm certainly glad I came. Very much appreciated the time, care, and professional demeanor of the seminars - they answered a lot of questions, and gave a starting point for a more focused study and method of using the excellent HTR data and handicapping tools.

Thanks a bunch, guys! Good luck to all of you, and look forward to seeing you at a track near you soon.

Best regards,
Neil Stilwell

Dittos to your remarks, Neil. And thank you for helping me in the Access class. It was a joy meeting you and all of the other folks at the seminar. It will be nice now to be able to see a person in my minds eye as I read the posts here on the board.

My wife arrived this morning so I have moved my tack and we are now comfortably installed at the "Paris" for the duration of my stay in LV. Have already checked out the race book. Very nice. In addition to the overhead monitors you have an individual monitor at each "desk" that you can tune to whatever track you wish. And each desk has its own power outlet!

Neil, let me know if you ever make it to AP. I would be glad to see you.

Another ditto Neil! My first attendance but already planning on being there next year. My special thanks to Mike Dee for his obvious effort in preparing aids for the more advanced access user. Would love to be able able to "hire" Mike for a few days of private tutoring.
Maybe as a retirement sideline he can open a "bed & breakfast" for aspiring access users.

My only regret is the HTR group is now so large it is not possible to meet and get to know everybody in the short time frame of the seminar. Really enjoyed those I did meet and hope to get to know more of you next year.

Thanks Ken Massa for the software and the seminar. !!

Great meeting all you out at Vegas...

Must echo what has already been posted....large group/little time. But it trully was a joy meeting everyone and chatting about one of our favorite subjects. As always the ideas and sharing flowed freely! Very, very unique group of people!!

Glad to see so many could attend!!

George- must agree...the presentation from Mike was excellent. I as well would love to hire him for a few days! Amazing that he is self taught, eh?

Good luck to all!

P.S.- for those of us leaving money out there...Carl is gonna pick it up and send it back for us!

Just got back home and have everything back to normal. Had a gret time and really enjoyed being with all fellow htr'ers. When any of youget ready to try out a few new access things just send me a message and Donnie or I will be glad to help.

One thing I put on my "to-do" list is to clean up the online Access manual and continue on with it! I want to make it easier to understand and I will save it into .pdf (Adobe) format. But as Mike said...post your questions or email. Either way you'll get an answer from one of us!

Hope everyone had safe journeys home!

You know how they tell you to not bother playing the slots at the Airport in Vegas?? "They never pay!!"

Well, I hit a $400 jackpot (on quarters) 10 minutes before boarding the plane! Talk about making a great trip even better!

Good luck to all!

Howdy folks,

Ditto, much thanks to all the speakers...Ken Massa, Don Naderman, Tom Walters, Mike Dee and all those who attended. Always nice to reunite with the old friends and meet new HTR folk. It's about the only time of year that some of us get to talk HTR face to face others of similar interest. Don't get that chance here to often. If you mention some of that HTR terminology to a local capper and they just look at you like your "crazy" or something...Rhonda and I had a blast...
Many thanks,
Glen

Hey...ditto on the great meeting. I saw Carl as I was leaving Tue morning and he assured me, Donnie, that he was bringing your money home with him. He should be sending it to you as soon as he gets back. Sounded to me like you took somebodies money at the airport.

Not really sure who's money I have..can't see how it could be mine.

Funny thing was, Greg, a lady behind me hit a jackpot for 2400 quarters ($600 for the mathematicly challenged) just 4 minutes before I hit mine. And for all the times I passed up those machines because everyone told me they don't pay out anything!!
