Did you all see this Ev1, C90 rank 1, 2nd PSCAN win for $84? What the ????
I placed a small tri wager 6 8/6 8 4/6 9 4 9 3 ($12) and went to walk the dog. Come back and see the horse pays $84 and the 8-3-6 tri pay $840 (missed it).

Wow - that was a monster overlay Glen!
The 'drift' really took place on this horse. The ML was only 6/1 and the horse was a sure contender on paper, but the heavy money came in on the 4 and 6 and everyone forgot about the 8 (winner).
This race was an Indiana-bred Msw. Very little early speed and zero late speed in this field.
A classic "rule of 50" race. None of the horses could muster a Fr3 > 50.00 fps.
The winner dominated Fr1 on all five PL modes. But the key factor with "rule of 50" races is to look at the E/P (2nd call velocity). This longshot was #1 E/P on all PL modes as well. We would have been all over this horse in tournament! As it was, yo put $10w and blew the tri just as Glen did. Missed the exacta too. A big fish that got away.

Yeah, you are right. SHoulda just bet the horse to win. With about 10 min to post the horse was 55-1. Figured there was only a few hundred dollars at most in the win pool at the time and that there was no way it would go off at odds greater than 8-1. Boy was I wrong and that was one of the hugest overlays I have ever seen....
