Keeneland is having an online Handicp contest. The rules are interesting. $3000 prize.
I. Description of Handicapping Challenge

Keeneland Association, Inc. ("Keeneland") is offering visitors to its website the chance to win cash and
prizes by selecting a horse in each of Keeneland's live races in the 2002 fall race meeting. Starting with
an imaginary bankroll of zero Challenge Dollars, each player will have the chance to select one horse he
or she expects to win in each of the upcoming live races in the Keeneland 2002 fall meeting. Players'
imaginary bankrolls will not be debited for the selection of horses. If the horse selected by the player
finishes first in the race, according to the final results as determined by the track stewards, the player's
imaginary bankroll will be awarded Challenge Dollars equivalent to the payoff of a two-dollar wager as
determined by the official Equibase chart (which may be accessed at www.equibase.com), with the
following modifications. First, payoffs of Challenge Dollars awarded to the player's bankroll will be capped
at 30-1 odds for first place (or a $62 maximum payoff for that race). Second, the payoffs of Challenge
Dollars awarded to the players' bankrolls for Keeneland's Overbrook Spinster (October 6), The
Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup (October 12), The Thoroughbred Club of America (October
20) and the Fayette Stakes (October 26) will each be worth double Keeneland Challenge Dollars.
Payoffs in these races will be subject to the same payoff caps outlined above, and then will be
doubled for those designated races.

At the conclusion of the Handicapping Challenge on Saturday, October 26, after the last live race, the
player with the most Challenge Dollars in his or her imaginary bankroll will be declared the winner and will
win the Grand Prize of $3,000. The eligible player who accumulates the second largest imaginary bankroll
will win the second prize of $1,200. The eligible player who accumulates the third largest imaginary
bankroll will win the third of prize $600. The player who accumulates the fourth largest imaginary bankroll
will win the fourth prize of $300. The player who accumulates the fifth largest imaginary bankroll will win
the fifth prize of $240. Players who place sixth through tenth will win a Keeneland jacket, along with a
another prize valued at less than $100 selected by the contest coordinator from the Keeneland Gift Shop.
In the event of a tie based on total bankroll, a tiebreaker will be implemented in the following order:

a.total win prices paid
b.number of winners
c.highest win payoff
d.random drawing.

Would love to go the Orleans, but unfortunately this old senior citizen is coaching football this year. But for sure this is it. Orleans is high on my list for next year.

Thanks for asking.

BTW: Beware races 1,2,3 and 10 at Keeneland.
