Going to list 15 show horses. These are not "winners" but come from a play designed to find the 2nd and 3rd horse for tri's.

Will run a $24 parlay on first 4 that run today. If I have a 300% profit on any leg will stop the parlay.

Yesterday had 300% on 3rd leg so quit. Risk/reward ratio not good enough to take a chance on 4th leg.
Potential win on last leg not worth risking a sure 300% profit.

Gonna jump on Hurrikane's +14 FE job (with the offshore boys, IF it gets bet, to paraphrase Shaggy, "IT WASN'T ME.") Also heading to CRC and MTR.

$8 win on each of the following please:

CRC r9 h2
MNR r7 h8 (whether they run on turf, dirt or concrete)
FE r5 h2

And you better beam me up Scottie, this is silly. I go one-for-one yesterday, horsey pays $6.00 and my ROI drops!?

$bet----------------$54 (after scratches)
$collected---------$142.20
$ ROI $2.63 for every $1.00 bet.

Hurrikane,
E-mail with ESB info sent.

Carl

Wizard......just noticed your faux paus...don't feel bad, Glen likes to omit the track as well as the race:)

I've been trying to get LS and Winticket to let me bet that way but no luck so far. Sure I could improve my roi with that approach.

Was going to bet a "Carl", that is; a 4-horse best bet; but came up with just 1/2 a "Carl" as I've got some "HoneyDo" projects calling & my usual daytime solitude has been broken today.

Haw R9 #2....m/l 8/1
GLD R2 #1.....m/l 8/5.........................thought I'd try some chalk today in hope of actually having an ROI to figure out again. $12 win on both.

PS--Wizard, if you use the edit/delete button at the bottom of your post U can change your message instead of having to repost.....then when U edit a post 3 times like I just did, only you will know your true 'dummy' inside:)

Haw race scr'd so......

$1 tri @ GLD 1/234/234 $6

$1 tri @ GLD 1/234/2345678 $18 (if it is a tri race......if not $24 to win.....any scr that lowers the tri bet gets bet to win).

I like 5FE2 as well but have you seen the track bias report for FE?

Carl
5th June 2001, 01:36.06 PM
Glen,

As you know, I personally am not worried about the track bias report (unless the horse reads it, then I am in big trouble).

I still suspect track bias is like Ken describes losing/winning streaks in the latest Newsletter, i.e. "a regression to the mean."

If the horse loses, I'll suspect it got beat because it ran too slow. That's usually why my horses lose, ALTHOUGH THAT 24-1 SHOT IN THE PHILLY 1ST AHEAD BY TWO OPENING UP HEADING IN THE STRETCH found a new way again today, bolting and carrying out a plan to visit the guy driving the tractor. I hate when that happens........

Which part seems to bother you Glen? Doesnt look like any type of stong bias for routes.

Glen
5th June 2001, 02:15.58 PM
Yeah, I bet the #2 as well cause the computer picked it. Can't bet against the computer. Last 30Day track bias says 8% W2W winners at FE Routes. Did have the #4 in in the 2nd leg of P3. Just need 1 6 7 to get the finish the deal.

Nice P3 Glen. Are you rolling it or just playing this leg.
2 ran 2nd..4.90 place so small profit on the w/p bet...
didn't see the race so can't say if it is bias or just the way the race unfolded...
IMHO..the 30 day sample for FE is too small to use

got your money back on the Pla parlay,,and a little more. Nice w**k

Glen
5th June 2001, 03:02.36 PM
Hurrikane,

True...Very small sample...

Played just the one leg R4 to R6. Noticed they have a P4. Will have to pay attention to that. Lovely track at FE.

Only hit one for $104 or something. Was hoping to get the 3 to win first leg and cash X4 on the Ev1 @ 8-1 MLO.

In the For-what-it-is-worth dept:

After the #2 scratched in the HAW 9th, the #4 comes up with clean 1's for early speed.

I like these late bets, we'll see how he does.

Humm..... First I bolt, then I lose that HAW photo by a short nose, then I think well that's as bad as it'll get today, and now I just got disqualified at PMR at 34-1.

Thank God things happen in threes, and I guess I might as well get it all out in one day, must admit things were going a little TOO GOOD for me of late. Well at least THAT CHANGED.

(Still hurts though, got me muttering to myself. Where's that darn dog when I need someone to kick? Hiding of course. At least I have a SMART DOG, things could be worst.)

Congrats to Wizard as he goes 2/2 today. 140% roi would have been acceptable for me today. I busted out on my first play.

Thanks Hurrikane.

I remember a few religious cults/experiences from the '60's with even stranger beliefs than I sometimes develop when I am having "a bad day".

Speaking of which, if you want to party down with the Jamaicans and I at ESB, you better get with our Rasta stuff.

One of the things we do for fun is smoke up on Ganja till we are about to pass out then head out for a swim in the deep blue sea. We then head straight out.

Once we get to the point where we are too tired to swim anymore, we take a look around, then turn around and head for home. IF we make it, it certainly goes a long way towards building character. The nice thing, it makes a losing day at the track, with Bolts, DQ's and all, look like a walk in da park...hehe. (I knew I shoulda done more swims when I had the chance....)

The Wizard
6th June 2001, 09:09.20 AM
HURRIKANE,
