IMHO, they are the greatest online service out there. Go for it. With CashExpress you can have an account ready for wagering within 15 minutes. Plus, they currently do not charge for withdrawls or deposits.

I am a long time UBET user, It is the only on line service I use. Overall I am a satisfied user. I don't own any stock. Here are a few key points you may want to consider.

I like the CD software better then the web version but the web version works OK.

! am on a DSL and the video is OK, if you are on dial up you may find the video slow and jerky. The video window is small, but you can watch the race but real TV is much better. The video is about a min or so slower then real time. So if you are a post time bettor (I am) you need to get your bet down just before they are loading them in the gate on the ubet video screen, because in real time they are probably just about all in. if you happen to have a live video feed on TV then you can wait until the last 1 or 2 are going in and not get shut out. IMO if you have UBET and live video feed you can bet closer to post time then anywhere else.

I like their odds board and wager pad the best, I think they have the best of anyone.

You will need 2 accounts one with call-a-bet and one with youbet. For certain tracks you have to switch between call a bet and ubet, but with these 2 accounts you can bet more tracks then anywhere else. Make sure ubet takes wagers from your state. There are states where ubet is not allowed to take wagers.

The funds in your call-a-bet account should be pretty safe because it is owned by Magna and they are pretty solid. (If we can trust their books). Everyone worries that ubet is going to fold and if they do I don't know what happens to your money in their Oregon hub. I think CA bettors are OK since ubet had to put up a bond in order to take CA accounts, but for the rest of us, I don't know. My advice is not to keep any more money in the ubet account then you are comfortable with losing should they go under.

Recently I have found the system to be sluggish on Saturdays. I guess this is due to a larger number of players on Sat.
