Mike Mayo (on the scene) reports that Tommy finished 2nd in the Mohegan Sun tourney and bagged 18 g's. Knock em dead Castillo man!
The Black Mariah RV will be a rockin and rollin all the way back to Dallas.
Ugly rumors persist though, Tommy may have bet to show on the 2/5 favorite at HOL in order to hold his position. If that is the case, he is immediately banned from HTR for life! Say it ain't so Tommy.

Way to go Tommy!!!!
Ken.......TC says he NEVER (well.....almost never) bets to show.
Only if he needs to in order to win :)

TommyC....not a bad day at the office....congrats. While we all need good luck at these tourney I would say TommyC's consistent performance indicates top notch skills will create some good luck.

PS..Where is that book on winning at the tourney's? It should be a horse racing best seller.
PPS...For what it's worth I am signed up to use HTR again beginning July 1st. It's been awhile but I suppose it's like riding a bike...you never forget. Look forward to conversing on this board even more.

Welcome back JimG. The 'book' on tournament success will be opened at 10pm on Friday night July 12 at the Stardust. Tommy always attends the seminar and is happy to share his insights informally - just buy him a whiskey with a splash of Coke first!
I will be hosting a simulated tournament that night. Good prizes, but the purpose is to instruct on tournament skills. Will it be luck or strategy that determines the winner?
You gotta be there. Where else will you find a room full of successful contest dogs that are willing to talk shop? This is ground zero.

Thanks for the welcome Ken. Good to be back. As much as I love to play the races, I have never been to Vegas. Would love to go to the convention, however, I will be out of town on business that week and unfortunately the business is nowhere near Las Vegas.
Looking forward to a report from the attendees.

Entirely my fault Hurrikane for not hooking up last time. If you decide to go to CNL again drop me an e-mail and I'll try to go to so that we can compare notes and meet. I'll be into HTR again big time by then. Thanks for the welcome.
