I'm debating upgrading Access 97 to 2000. Is it worth the effort? What new goodies does it have that I don't have with '97?

Tom,
From "Special Edition: Using Access 2000": Many of the new features of Access 2000 are cosmetic and have little, if any affect on the everyday lives of Access users and developers". As you know, '97 users can't open 2000 files due to Jet redesign.
I'll make a copy of the table I'm trying to give you in '97.

(Incidentally, I'm trying to make a database of trainer patterns for 3 years at Keeneland, and find I didn't save my 2000 HTR files correctly. Does anyone have an archive of those they could send me?)

About the only advantage to 2000 is that databases can now be up to 2 gb in size.
As I recall 97 was only 1 gb.
For what we are doing, I don't think you will notice much difference.
I have 2002 but run in 2000 mode to try and be compatable with as many as possible. In 2002 they added pivot tables and charts. Of course I have not gotten that far.
