Quickly fixed some of the obvious bugs in HTR2001 this morning and uploaded to Rick. You can get the "April 8" version when he is ready. Sorry for the hassle. I had to finished the program in haste before leaving for Vegas and had no time to beta-test.
1) The crashes were coming in the Velocity Plus screen for the most part. I think it is stable now. Hurrikane was correct in his assessment of that error - large fields were not being initialized in the data array.
2) the Place prices in the "Tournament Picks" screen were incorrect. That was a display error only and did not effect calculations elsewhere.
3) the C90 was showing '000' in the tester - I fixed that and now you can test the C90 ranking #1 with your results.
I'll have another update later this month and try to figure out any other bugs as we go. Thanks for the reports on here and email.
All feedback from the Tester and the Tournament Picks options was positive from the people in Vegas and emails received since I returned. Changed the name of the Tournament Picks button to 'Spot Picks' since the "M" and future items may well be heavy favorites that could be used as key singles. Will certainly expand the scope of the tester each update.
BTW: the "M" (from KM) are very solid horses that have specific criteria for high win%. When you test it, they should win 40% or higher. If not, they are bad bets. You can find the "M"'s listed on the Program Screen with the KM Picks.
