Can anyone tell me if there is a "help" file for the new TLC (or even the old one for that matter)?

And why do the figures for the eSP, Att, and Res not equal those on the Impact reports?

As always, my apologies if these questions have been asked before!

Thanks,
Cliff

Cliff, the TLC is custom tool written for TomCat with his specifications. He wants to share it - so we put it out for everyone to use. But there is no help file because it was not written for public consumption and Tom can make changes at any time. Most of the information is adapted from other HTR program screens.

Leave some specific questions about the data on here for TomCat or others to answer. There is quite a bit of cryptic symbolism in TLC that I cannot honestly remember all of it myself !

Cliff,
seems to me one of the newletters had some info on TLC. The impact figs are from the older version of impact. The newer version seems to have better numbers but that may just be an illusion caused by winning. Tom is really good about answering questions and I believe his email is in the newsletter and probably up here under his profile too.

OK,

Thanks guys. I found out a few of the answers from the old newsletter and managed to decipher some codes myself. The only one I haven't really figured out is an "x" to the left of the trainer ranking, i.e., x3c. Looking specifically at horse #7 Illegal in race 9 at Lone Star yesterday. It was an Asmussen claim which really showed nothing in terms of velocity rankings. Trying to figure out what I missed, or, correspondingly, what Steve is doing because it doesn't seem that he claims that many.

Didn't really figure out what the Quirin points with the parenthesis around them mean either i.e. (6) or (7).

Thanks,
Cliff

Yeah, I dunno either. Asked Tomcat in a post a few weeks ago and he mentioned that he will be speaking at the seminar Friday night and highlighting what all that means. Regarding the claims, sometimes you can't predict those winners by pace or speed figs. Sometimes itt is due to a switch to a better diet, training, better flavor of oats or possibly a bigger needle...

Friday night I will go through the TLC (including
what tlc stands for). I also want to show you
the more popular plays, the updates, and stuff.

We will get in Thurs eve. See y'all then!

Notice a lot of references to the TLC program but don't see it on the list of software. How can I get a copy and if you have it and wouldn't mind sending me a copy my e-mail address is
grjljj@msn.com. Thanks for the help.

I, too, would be pleased to receive a copy of TLC. I have been an HTR user for over a year now and think it is one of the better products of it's nature that is avaiable. Thanks in advance for sending a copy of TLC.
