Right after it exports oaklawn. Anyone else getting this? Looks like when it hits PARX in the menu it crashes.

OK; here Jim.
Just throwing it out there…any connection with PARX cancelling; a gremlin with a deleted file?

Good thought Dan, I am downloading all files for today again.

No luck. The error says "Invalid property value".
Hx4 works with just PHA selected. HX5 gives the error with just PHA selected.

I tested with HX5...weird? Almost as weird as the Mariners trading 22yo flame throwers to the Empire. :D:D

It does crash on PRX, my bad, we probably only beta tested on HX4 since it had the new item :o
Will fix asap and get back to Rick with a new HTR2 version

I rebooted and re-installed, still the same error. I have a Windows 7 Pro machine.
I tested with the PHA files for today in and got the error. I deleted the card and still get the error.
Looks like no Kentenders for me. :(

No biggie Dan. As for the Yanks, they have a 35 year old guy who is owed 33 million and will probably pay 34 million to get rid of him. Do you have an extra room in Tampa? :p

On our budget; that's one million too much! :D
Thanks for the early Gremlin catch before we started our exporting.

It's fixed, took two minutes to extract the PHA/PRX out properly with the just first 3 letters. That was the problem, adding "/PRX" --- thanks Jim for your quick response on this
The date on HTR2 fixed Export will be shown as "January 15, 2012" (previous verison showed "Jan")
Rick will announce when available.

Ken, as of this point in time, I am not seeing the new monthly report or the software update links in the Subscriber Zone. I was able to update the software programs (except Robot2) through the main page. I am missing something (probably so)?

HTR2 and HTRTAB have been fixed. Just run the full install programs to replace.
Be sure to reboot before trying to install.

Awesome quick response Ken and Rick!
Thanks so much for all you do!

A few questions on export.
To my understanding only HX4 changed with the KT'rs
Do I need to re-export all tables because of the PHA/PRX situation?
Secondly I can open HTR 2 and scroll back to Jan 1st and when I go to export there is a check box to "export races from 1jan only".
Does this mean only races for Jan 1st or all races from Jan 1st to the present day?
Finally. For those who use spot plays in access daily.
I assume that you import to a new table(s) called "today_HX4" or something like that as there are no results and they would stop new re-exported records ( with results ) from being imported because of the unique indexes.
How do you deal with scratches?
Its quite an undertaking to write a module to re-calculate all the tables, for rank, diff etc. Or do you just delete the new tables and re-export from HTR2?
The last question has been a head scratcher since Nov when i started using the export module.

Personally I have a batch file that deletes the current day and then I re-export everything. After that I run all my processes again. Might sound like a lot, but with a few standard batch files it takes me about a minute to export and about a minute to reload and recalculate.
Disclaimer for that is I am using Oracle not Access. So Access users would have a much better idea.

Thanks Jim,
That seemed the easy way to me. Sounds like a lot to do 3/4 times per day, but like you say its about 3-4 minutes.
3/4 times is an estimate as we have early mid-day and evening racing. Usually after the 2nd race at a meet there is little change.

The PHA/PRX label has no effect on the Export, the files are still "PHA" internally.
The only change in any of the export files is HX4 which you'll need to redo if you want Ken-tenders as the final data field.

If you scroll the races back to 1st Jan and check the box to export 1 Jan races only, that is all you will get, 1 Jan.
If you export races without results, my recommendation would be to have a separate database for it. If you use the Import and Clear Content buttons in the HTR Tempate, I also suggest removing the clear buttons for the tables you use on your database with results. After using the clear button on the daily database so much I found myself hitting the clear button on my main database. After doing that once I removed the clear buttons.
The import and clear buttons make it easy to import again after scratches.

I am getting an error trying to run "HTR2TourMaxvelRobot2Setup". I assume I'm doing something wrong...not sure what.

What error are you getting.
A common problem is incomplete download. Check file size. It should be over 1 mb.
Another common error is not rebooting before running the full install, or having one or more of the HTR programs running while trying to run the full install.

Thanks to Rick, Jim and Ken. All my questions answered within 12 hours. Outstanding. I am up and running.
I don't usually use the control panel ( imported the old manual way ).
Since yesterday I have decided to Export daily, so added much to the control panel.
What I did notice ( on the first day, phew! ) was that when using the HX4 import, as it uses the import specs in the Macro that those specs need to be updated or the new nKENTENDERS will all be blank.

The import spec file has been updated in the latest htr template.
