I think this is the earliest they posted a contest schedule. Next year the Winter Gallop is renamed the Orleans Last Chance Qualifier and is held the Thursday BEFORE the NHC. In previous years the Winter Gallop went head-to-head with the Red Rock Shootout on the Sunday AFTER the NHC which affected turnout for both events. The equine stars are starting to align. Mark those calendars.

Fall Classic at The Orleans
•$500 entry fee, win only
•Registration October 3, 2012
•Contest date: October 4-6, 2012
•Top 25 qualify for the 2013 Horse Player World Series
