Congrats to Naderman for finishing 3rd in today's horseplayerqualify event and picking up HPWS entry.

Nosed out Mayo, that's ok, Mayo already got two spots, he's just scrimmaging.

Donnie are you getting warmed up for the WHC finale? $26,000 in the final pool and.... well not growing since May toward that million dollars or was it $75,000 :rolleyes: But I hope you win it D'

After the NHC, we'll gather a list of the HPWS qualifiers from among the HTR membership.

Yep. Gotta thank Mike! He rolled over for me in that last race. He just moved to the top of my drink list in January!! LOL!!!

I just went out to check the WHChamp site. Looks like there is $30K in the pool. Also it looks like the Final is Dec 17th and 18th. I wonder if they are still paying out the top 10 places. Can't seem to find the page with the current Finalists on it. Can't be any more than 25. Am I remembering properly that the winner gets 50% of the prize pool??

Think I'll hit the HPQualify site hard this next Friday. $25 to win a trip to Vegas Dec 2nd & 3rd to try to qualify at TI. :)

D' here's the link to the WHC finals info; scroll down to read the names of qualifiers, looks like about 30 people, 40 total entries with multiples, darn good chance to score some cash. GP and TAM will be running that weekend.

Although that page says $26K, on their front page for the T-Breds it says Estimated Prize Pool: $30,000. Either way, I like those odds. Especially when it can be done from home.

That HPQualify for $40 has to be one of the BEST bargains out there (aside from Ken's Freebie!). 3 weeks ago I came in 4th (they were giving away 3). Last week I came in 8th. This week was the ticket! I think I still spent less than $200 total.

Nice job Donnie, glad you got in. Bad horses in the last race. My 9 (who ran third) actually headed the even money fav (1) with about 100 yards to go for second. He then gave it up to allow the 1 to run second and the 26 place pts were just enough.

However, I will take you up on the cocktails. Also still waiting on the rental price on that basement. Since Texas will not allow ADW wagering and Iowa does I am looking for a spot to camp out.
