New Access Book

I just got in a new book "Microsoft Access Version 2002 Inside Out" by Helen Feddema. I have only read about 150 pages and it may be a little early to recommend but I have found it to be much more clearly written written that my other Access book "Access 97 Bible".

I wouldn't recommend the "Access 97 Bible" but "Inside Out" looks promising and I will comment more as I get further into it.

Rick since I'm still on 97, (have a copy of 2000 but I never loaded it.) let me know what you think of it as it relatates to the 97 version.

I am running in Access2000 mode to retain compatibility with most everyone else in the group. That means I can't run some of the new features like PivotTables and Charts.

I think it would be a good book for anyone using Access97 and above. Things haven't changed that much between versions.

I will get back after I read thru queries and joins. I am interested in the things that we get involved in. The book is well written. We still have to try to relate it to horse racing. For some of us that is easier than others.
