Could it be that the DEL contest was a qualifier for another contest? At Santa Rosa the top 4(?) got to go to Sacramento to compete......and the winner there got to go to Las Vegas.
My standard disclaimer......"I could be wrong" but I think that was the rules in southern California also........

mornin' guys
here at the NTRA
joined Mike Tommy and the crowd for last nights mixer. This thing is still in an infant stage but when you start drawing media other than the standard industry wags you know it's just a matter of time. Virtually everybody shows a little "buzz" of anticipation.
While I'm here I'll play the tournament and see how I do in hopes of wearing a "Player" badge one day. I lucked out and it appears I'll be able to sit/stand along the wall next to Tommy and Mike. They aren't sitting by teams so where possible those who want to sit together can.
I'll give you some feedback from a "want-a-be"'s perspective later. Having said that I met about a dozen full time tourney player like me here to observe. That's encouraging as well.
PS I brought a new computer along with my current one, but am unable to run TLC.exe under Windows ME system. It opens race files but I get a message that program performed illegal operation. Program tried to execute an invalid instruction Fault location C29F:F225. HTR works fine.
If anyone has a suggestion - I'd love to clear this up as soon as possible so I'm down to one computer.

Whoa, GP just had $115 winner. Was a +10 on impact. Bet Mayo had that one...
She is 6 months ole. I'm still working w/ her on horse racing. So far she is just interested in chewing bones rolling over to have her belly rubbed. There is still hope...

Gabby,
My only suggestion it to open a DOS window and try running it in there. Try changing to DOS mode and running it in there.
It should run in DOS but you might have to play with autoexec.bat and config.sys if they are not set to give you the most available memory.
Memmaker.exe might help there if MS still had it in ME.
Good luck.

It was a rough outing Score-wise for Mike , Tommy and yours truely.
$60.wasabout all Tommy and Mike could muster. Final totals aren't official but I think each was around that figure. I only had $24.80
This can be a humbling game, alright.
I sat between the fellowwho was leading the first day. and the guy who was fifth and in front of the Penthouse Team so I had media the entire time. Brownfieldended 4th and the Penthouse Team won the Media/Charity competion.
Exciting forme and Ilearned a lot in case I fall into a qualifier.
