301 total players, that's a light turnout, but it is a really good deal for $400 entry, includes cheap room, shirts, free food and drink, and the tournament buffet is high quality food ; and 100% pay back of the entry fees. Three day contest, 15 plays per day, $200 WP mythical wagers. Daily money to top 3 each day and top 5 finishers get a free roll at the HPWS next year.
I counted about 40-45 total entries among the 25 or so HTR members attending this contest. Most of them also attended the seminar on Wednesday.
Ret Grady, Bob Stark and our team (Mayo/Massa) had the best day among our members with about 11000 points on day one. Several others not far behind. The leader has 14000 right now.
Late day Friday, will report back when i have news.

.....oh, this contest is gettin' serious. Now that DMR is running, Ken and Donnie just went across the hall to try and qualify for "Who Wants to be a Millionare".

Mayo and Massa in 1st place after Day-2! We have 25000+ points. We saved most of the bullets for DMR and got points in every race including hitting all of the longest prices to Win.
Yes, as Alan said, Donnie and I and Paladin/Scott did tryout for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire (they had a casting call at the Gold Coast across the hall). We better stick with horses. They didn't call our numbers after a trivia test and we did not need a lifeline to find the exit.
Back with the final on Saturday, it is going to be a wild one for us.

HTR nation is 110% behind the M & M boys. Keep that famous Massa focus and bring it home Ken…may the force be with you.

All is well, thank you. Lots of interesting stuff going on in the world right now, taking a break(could be short, could be long) from racing right now. Waiting to see what happens with the budget in addition to see what happens with M2:D Hopefully, will be celebrating both ways.:D

Good news G; stay well and racing will always (we hope ) be here after you read the budget fallout and crush the markets. :)

DMR, Race-6 First time starter, #8: Monster PED, FTI, K2=2 at 18-1 just seems like Ken’s wheel house. Let’s hope some of HTR nation was on that.
