I love it - nice going George. If you or anyone finds a human interest story on this one, please post the link or paste the article here. About one in ten of these bridge jumpers will be found out by reporters who are as eager as the rest of us to understand why anyone is motivated to bet $100,000 to show on a 1/5 shot to win just $5000.

If you have a $100,000, what do you need the $5000 for?

Hurrikane.......have learned to go deeper during my 3 month case of seconditis. If we could get more bridge jumpers involved I would do it all the time. Noticed the #5 had 90% of the show pool and I had figured best he could do was third. Figured he might run out so played my top two across. I rarely do that.

Glen.......don't want to hear about 65 degree weather. Gonna be 85 degrees in Honduras and am heading there later this week. Think I will come back when I hear a 65 degree forecast for Indiana.

Ken......will try to find out if that was an individual yesterday. Suspect it was just crowd consensus betting. Not an unusually large show pool for SUF.

Whoa, 85 degrees. Sounds great. You may want to swing by the Army Surplus store and pick up an extra machine gun, bullet proof vest and perhaps a helmet before going down there. But I hear the horse racing is competitive down there. Instead of running for purse money they run for a bushels of cabbage and other leafy organisms....Just kiddin. Have a great trip.

Am way ahead of you, Glen. Am going as guest of a colonel in the Honduran army. He always assigns me to the protection of a "fishing guide" who has all the equipment you mentioned.

Kinda neat to sit at dinner with your guide who has an Uzi laying on the table by his hand.
Hasn't bothered my appetite in the past. Try not to think about it.

The place is a bit like the wild west in USA around 1880. Beautiful country though and in general very nice but extremely poor people.

Sure I will have a nice trip. BOL to all in the contest.

85 degrees? It is only 78 here, oh well, I'll just have to live with it.

Back to Gulfstream this weekend.
