Donnie, we all want you to do your seminar presentation on the Modeler again this year - thanks for using it in the selections thread. My feedback from users has been very positive with the Wizard, and many people have requested a full card analysis printout, so i'm going to work on that for the seminar update.
I would also like to work on a possible full day printout and have Rick post the PDF for a mobile report that wouldn't require software.
The Wizard will only display if there are at least 7 sample races. After using it awhile with small samples with the Class option, i don't see a problem when the top 3 or top 4 are 80% or higher. Results are just as reliable, especially if the (K) or HTR are the key factors. If they are hitting 80 - 100% as you saw in that GP race today - it's almost always a slam dunk.

No problem Ken. Would be more than happy to present again. I hope to share some more insights that I have found along the way. It would enhance the experience for everyone present if they also bring their experiences. The only "bad" thing about the modeler is that unless you run it, you really can't research the results from it.
And I am in 1000% agreement with you. A model is suppose to show short-term trends and change. If one thinks about it, 20 races really could be just 4 or 5 days of let's say 6-furlong races. You are identifying the trends MUCH quicker than the crowd is (personally, I don't use the Class option too much). I don't worry too much if there only 7 or 10 or 12 races. The question is, what is winning NOW...not 6 months ago.
We are what? 6 months out? Time to start solidifying those plans!! If you have never attended the seminar, DON'T MISS IT!!!

Donnie,
Are you thinking of or using the Microsoft Report Builder (that I just received in an email)?

I love the idea of a pdf full card modeler printout - this seems like something that just has to be in the subscriber section though eh?

We did the PDF with the HTR-Mobile (subscribers only), but it was a hassle for Rick to post it everyday. And this one might not work well from a generic Wizard printout without scratches.
It might be better to post the results of the Wizard , such as "GP-7th, K Top4 88%" and let the user find the horses after they remove the scratches.
Any suggestions welcome, my ipad want to know!

Having just learned, with the help of people on this board, the beauty of reports on the iPad, I would suggest a listserv. Rather than having Rick post up the reports, you could instead have people opt-in to a listserv and thereby receive an e-mail with the attachment(s).
