If you have been reading the daily GP selection blog, you may have read the Sunday pick was a "BTL" play. BTL (better than looked) is found in HTR2 and HTR-Tour tagged to some horses.
BTL refers to horses that faced tougher competition or an early pace or final fraction that was well above the expected level for today's race. If they had trouble or showed some signs of life in the tougher race, they'll get the "BTL" tag today.
The selection on Sunday combined BTL with $$ and 2TS/L2. These item can be a potent combination. Try testing that, or any two or three of these items with BTL. You should be able to work up some good spot plays as I did.
2TS (second time starters) are also effective with $$. Most 2TS are also 2nd Lasix (L2) and you'll read why this can be an important handicapping element in the "Monday GP Blog" thread.
