About to Upgrade from Vista to Windows 7

Just curious are there any known issues I need to consider prior to do doing this?

None at all as far as HTR software is concerned. Win7 is a nice asset actually with features that improve multitasking and running mutliple instances of Robot2 for instance.

In terms of Windows, Win7 has succeeded better than all previous version transitions in terms of upgrade issues. They finally got it right. Go for it.

If you like the Quick Launch you will find it is not there by default in Win7.

Easy to do a Google search to find out how to add it back if you want it the way I do.

Everything I have seen concerning going into Windows 7 coming from Vista, and Microsoft takes this approach as well, is to do a fresh install. Back up your files, wipe out your hard drive then install fresh as if the hard drive has never seen an operating system.

I just upgraded to Windows 7 (three days ago) and so far I've got a significant improvement in performance. I did back up all my files and did a fresh install but probably could have gotten away without that.
