Greetings,

Extracted from a recent interview where the individual indicated that he averages around
nine minutes per race to handicap.

I also read or heard that Jim "The Hat" was able to handicap a race in under a minute.

Question is, how long is too long/ That may be based at the quantity of information
we are using. Is more the better?

Reading in Old Newsletters, TC condensed what he vision to be Key Factors into one
report to help reduce time spent in handicapping.

Ideas Welcomed

Thanks

Sly

I play exotics and I am slow so it takes a little longer.

Depending on the questions that come up while I am telling myself the story of this race, it may take anywhere from 5 minutes to an hour.

I would avg about 10 minutes if I am following the track and in sync.
Some races you don't need much time if you recall the horses from previous races.

I normally look at the bottom half for anything sticks out(2-4 minutes) and then cull the top half based on odds that can fit in an exotic and still pay what I think this race is worth.

After I am done with that the bet construction may take another 10 minutes.

I work at trying to get HTR to pick out the races to play since I don't want to play more than 4-5 hours a day most days.
