January HTR Newsletter is now available for subscribers. Some good GP and SA stats in this month's edition. Also a very interesting test of the QT3 as it relates to the Quirin speed point ranking, which was also tested thoroughly, including a Fr1 tiebreaker.

Rick is leaving for a well deserved vacation to visit family for a few days and we will post the HTR2001 update he returns next week.

Contest players: the rules stand as listed originally on our tournament forum. Rick will provide instructions on posting your selections next week when he figures out a fail-safe method to do it 5 minutes before race time.

The archived HTR newsletters are read worldwide by more than 500 people each month. One of the past articles will be featured in the Australian handicapping magazine called Practical Punting Monthly in February. Can the Wall Street Journal or Newsweek be next ?!

My guess is because HTR's Webmaster, Rick, is on a MUCH deserved vacation. If you need Dec's newsletter right now, drop me an email (address below) and I'll send it to you - I don't think KM will mind. Otherwise, I'm sure Rick will post it as soon as he returns.
