This sounds great Ken!

I would like to say you have raised the bar again, but heck it is so high I cannot even see it! ;)

The HTR Report for Jul/Aug 2010 is up in the Subscriber Zone (http://htr.horsedata.com/HTR_Protected/membersonly.htm).

You can download the installer with the latest upgrade for HTR_TOUR HERE (http://www.homebased2.com/km/dnl/HTR_TourSetup.exe).

Or you can download HTR_TOUR.EXE HERE (http://www.homebased2.com/km/dnl/HTR_TOUR.EXE).

You must have HTR2 installed for HTR_TOUR to work.

The Jul 8, 2010 HTR2.exe and Robot2.exe upgrades have been added to the HTR2MaxvelRobot2Setup (http://htr.horsedata.com/HTR_Protected/dnl/HTR2MaxvelRobot2Setup.exe) full installer/upgrader. It is in the Subscriber Zone.

The Jul 8, 2010 HTR2.exe and Robot2.exe upgrades have also been added to the Subscriber Zone (http://htr.horsedata.com/HTR_Protected/membersonly.htm).

A new exporter has been added to HTR2.exe called HXN. You can read/download the File Specs for HXN.pdf near the bottom of the HTR Library (http://www.homebased2.com/km/library.htm).

I have added ALL_HXN table to the htr template but am pulling my hair out trying to get the import macro for it to work. I am using Access 2010 and keep getting an error. You can download it here (http://homebased2.com/km/dnl/htr_templates.mdb). You will either have to create your own import macro for now or do manual imports until I can figure out why I am having problems creating it or someone can tell me why I am having problems with it.

OK. Thanks to MikeDee I have all the Import Macros converted to VBA and attached to the menu buttons for importing the HX? files.

The rest of the menu buttons still run macros.

You can download it here (http://homebased2.com/km/dnl/htr_templates.mdb).

Access 2010 has changed the way they do macros and it is messing up our macros that use import specification files. They are now using something like a lookup table instead of the import specification file name and it is causing all kinds of problems. It is throwing me an error and there is a good bet that the macros that have been converted to Access 2010 will not run on earlier versions of Access.

I left the old import macros in there just as a guide for anyone using an older version of Access that want to make their own import macros.

Bill,

Have you tried to use the IGNORE Option of the Error Pop Up?

I did and it worked on my Vista.

Running just fine, so far.

Just so you don't think we hit the ignore button on him, Bill solved his problem via email.

Yes----------Thanks to both Ken and Rick, who each responded to me, offering solutions. Interestingly, their solutions differed!

When I initially tried the "Ignore" button, it installed HTR2 and Tour, but NOT the Robot, even with several tries. For some reason, that process eventually did work, AFTER I rebooted!

Problem solved, and all is running smoothly

I, also, tried installing the Robot separately and I too got the "Page cannot be found" message

EE26,

Thanks for letting me know. I'll take care of that.

In the mean time go ahead and use the full install.

I got it so it could be used for upgrading also.
