Plays vs Bets

Greetings,

What would cause my Plays v/s Bets to be different in the Bottom of the Spot Play Report?

I thought that they should match as I have seen on other days.

Ideas?

They won't match if =

= the race was cancelled

= no results are not in for that race (not downloaded or weren't available)

= there may have been in conflict in the results such as DeadHeat, DQ, non-betting entry, etc.

I am curious.
What would you have possibly been able to find in Robot or Access to create a spot play to the following horse which paid 98 to win.

I already ask him that.

The only way I could come up with it was using PL4 and FR3.

He had a play just for that distance and track. Two keys to hitting it was no K1-3 and Did NOT Win Last Start.

You should be able to come up with something from that.

One way to get that horse was to look at the Great Numbers available.

To add to the puzzle, Boxing the Top 4 in just that single category would have yieided the Super.

Win $98.40

Exacta $ 1448.00

Trifecta $ 7201.80

Superfecta (whatever the actual payoff was) $ 328051.80 ???????

Great call Sly. Superfecta was a dime winner, divide that payoff by 10.
They always show $1 price even if no one had it for a $1. That $1 payoff was bigger than the pool, so it is likely that one or two tickets got the whole enchilda for a dime.

Sometimes, one even has to look for that

I recall from recent reading by you I think that stated "Long Shots don't Win JUST BECAUSE"

Two ways a horse can win, either they Cross the Wire FIRST or get forced into the spot as a result of

DQ'ing all ahead.

Holler when you plan to do some work with Robot 2, I got some enhancement ideas.

Sniffed out yet another HTR Super Factor for SUF Wed 26 May 2010 Race 9.

Hint: Top 4 for that Factor Box was good for the Superfecta. Winner was tied for the Top Rank.

Sure is encouraging to find these after the results are in but hopefully such a process will aid in early detection. Just got to figure out when the Moon will turn Blue.<G>
