Beulah cancellation today

Beulah & Thistledowns canceled today after several races because of a "mishap in the 3rd race."

Mike Dee, or anyone else: do you know what happened?. I'm hoping that there wasn't a serious human injury, but I'm worried.

I don't know what happen and I wasn't watching at the time, I called TDN but they operator said she didn't know what happened, guess we will just have to wait, for the news but I image it was very serious to cancel the races.

Jockey Arnold Ruiz was fatally injured. Terrible.

Apparently, a three horse spill, one horse fell on top of the jockey.

..tragic. He rode at PRM this past season. Any word on how the second jockey is fairing?

Costanzo was treated and released, Heath had minor cuts and bruises. None of the horses were put down.
